Connection Games

Real Fun. Real Connection.

Ahem! A Game for IntrovertsAhem! features fast paced fun that's guaranteed to break the ice and empower people to come out of their shell, even introverts.
And since all the prompts are about yourself, you already know the right answer!
You may be surprised at how many new things you learn about your friends, and how much you choose to share about yourself! What makes this game different from other icebreaker games is that the person doing the answering is the person choosing the question or prompt. Each player-card features 3 options to choose for each of the 2 color-coded prompts. This essentially gives multiple choices and more control to the player.By giving control to the player it takes away a lot of the issues faced by people who may find it hard to express themselves in typical question-and-answer games. We feel that this removes that feeling of "being put on the spot," allowing the player to relax and just be themselves. We have also given player-control by including various ways to play, depending on what experience the players desire. There's the competition style gameplay where the players compete for each prompt card and collect points each turn. Then there's the casual style gameplay where each player takes a turn with each prompt card and no points are collected.

Oh, Those Alien Lifeforms! You‘re a Sci-Fi Scientist exploring new lands. Your mission is to send Reports back to the Mother Ship. Collect Samples from each new land in order to create a story about what the aliens are up to and include this in your Mission Report. Make sure to follow the Prime Directive which changes with each new land you explore. What makes this game different from other story telling games is that by exploring alien life forms you may find that you share so much in common, and this helps build connections. As neurodivergent creators we have sometimes felt as if we were either aliens ourselves or as if we were observing an alien society. We created Oh, Those Alien Lifeforms! as a loving and fun play on our shared experience.Alien Lifeforms! expowers the players by providing various ways to play the game. Players can choose from two ways to play, depending on the experience they prefer at that time. This removes any player pressure or burden that may be present in games of this nature.Players can choose to play Casually by telling a collective story from the samples. They may also play Competitively by taking turns being Captain and awarding points for their favorite story. Awarding points encourages engagement and creativity that can help even the most introverted of us come out of their shell and get into the fun.

It's a fresh new game every time. This game is great for those who do not wish to tell stories or those who prefer quieter games. Making The Game

Accessible Design

Our Table Top Games were created to bring people together, find common fun, and create real connections.
Table top games should be enjoyable by anyone.
That's why our games are designed with accessibility in mind.

Our games are printed with a dyslexic-friendly font and feature easy to read and comprehend text for most reading levels.

Unlike most table top game designs we are not relying on colors, as they may not be seen or recognized by some, especially those who are color-blind. Instead, we are utilizing the principles of contrast and patterns to help folk visually identify the matchable colors on the cards. This is one of the many ways we have thoughtfully designed our game to be as accessible as possible.

We wanted to keep the game portable in design because we feel it's important for accessibility in general, as well as a way to keep costs down for accessible affordability.
